Original characters(OC) are very important here on Gotham MUSH, these are the people who round out the city. That's not to say you can't make your own vigilante or villain if that's what you want, but it means that the game will be more rounded because of the existence of your character.

Its important to note however this is Batman's city and the thematic residents of Gotham will be the most effective vigilantes (NEWS FYI), most dangerous villains, highest ranks in the GCPD, etc. and you should take this into consideration when designing your character. Sure Batman can take down 4 men on his own with ease, but the focus should not be on this it should be on the RP you can gain by working with others if you're a villain to take him down. Or perhaps as a vigilante getting with several others to take down The Riddler or even a precinct of GCPD going after The Penguin.

And then of course there are teachers, grocers, lawyers, doctors or any other job or profession that interests you. And if you app a vigilante you will need to have one of these so keep that in mind.
