Welcome to Gotham Knights. I hope you enjoy your RP experience here,
and have a good time. This is a short essay on what the VISION and
SPIRIT of this MUSH is, and that I hope to accomplish
First, I want to try to bring back your childhood. Roleplaying is
the fundamental theme here, based on Comic book heroes that we have
grown up and loved. Have you as a kid, imagined what it would be
like to be Batman, or Crime fighter out to save the day? The fun you
had when you captured your next door neighbor because she robbed an
imaginary bank? That is the type of fun and spirit I want to
recapture.
I would also like this place, to be a 'Home' on the net. Where you
can meet friends, share stories and have a general good time. I have
seen my share of political inter-MUSH fighting and harassment. I do
not what to see that here. We are all friends here, and I wish
everyone to treat each other fairly and with respect. If something
gets too hot, type QUIT. It's easy, cool off a bit. Hopefully with
the nature of consentual Roleplaying, everyone can make some really
good RP scenes, which are believable, and everyone can agree on.
Another goal and vision of this game, is to have ample RP. There
are so many MUSHES on the net, that have tons of players who simply
idle. Lets not be one of them. FCs will be active, or they will be
pulled. Inactive leaders will be told to be, or be replaced. Good
Roleplaying will be awarded with awards, staff bits, and even your
RP logs placed on our website.
Gotham City is our focal point for Roleplaying. We have designed the
grid to be accurate in giving an authentic feel and flavor of Gotham.
We have tried to keep the room #'s down, in order to increase RP
potential. If there is something you see that is wrong, or needs to
be built. Please @mail us. I want this mush to be _the_spot for
Gotham Roleplaying in the DC universe.
Lastly, this game is for you, the players. If you like how things
are,
please spread the word about Gotham Knights. I would like to see our
login number grow, and see people playing civilians, police, insane
lunatics. You know, typical City people ;)
