This post is to clarify when you should post stuff and where it should go.

IC information other players would know should go in one or more of the following boards under the IC Information heading. Unless you are having a quiet, non-eventful RP you most likely have something to put on one of these boards:

Gotham City and Bludhaven:
Gotham Gazette - Any event that would make the news should go here, ie. kidnappings, bank robberies, fires, etc. This board can also be used for more social news as well such as an upcoming fundraiser and then a report of who was there, etc. after the event.

Word on the Gotham Street - This is where rumors or clues to events should be posted. Want folks to get the idea that the robbery that occurred the other night might have been done by someone, NPC, unfilled FC, or your character, this is where it would go. This information in the manner of rumors or gossip and can be false leads.

GCPD Files - If the police might have been called in even as NPCs this is where the information should go. Information on this board should be facts, though as is part of the nature of police investigation it may not be complete.

NYC:
NY Times - Any event that would make the news should go here, ie. kidnappings, bank robberies, fires, etc. This board can also be used for more social news as well such as an upcoming fundraiser and then a report of who was there, etc. after the event.

Word on the NYC Corner - This is where rumors or clues to events should be posted. Want folks to get the idea that the robbery that occurred the other night might have been done by someone, NPC, unfilled FC, or your character, this is where it would go. This information in the manner of rumors or gossip and can be false leads.

NYPD Files - If the police might have been called in even as NPCs this is where the information should go. Information on this board should be facts, though as is part of the nature of police investigation it may not be complete.

OOC:
The Log Pile is where you place logs of your RP and it is not required reading as it is OOC information. Why post your logs you might ask? Well first, certain characters and character types have RP requirements and logs are the best way to know folks are actively RPing. It also shows potential new players how active the place is and how good the RP is here. Your logs also add your RP into the game's continuity and allows future appers for a FC someplace to look and see what was done with their character whether they had a player or were NPCed.
