Since I can't connect, I'll have to make a post here. I hope no one minds -- this seems like the most appropriate forum for this topic.
Her real name is Judy Kemp (if anyone gets the connection between clowns and the name 'Kemp', you get ... um.. my neverending love and respect?), but her alias is...
She may seem cute, but don't be completely fooled. She's a savvy criminal.
Honest.
I just wanted some critiques -- I'm concerned that the clownishness of the character might come off too much like Harley? I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing, it might make for some funny RP situations, but I want to get a feel for the opinion of the players before I get too committed to her.

Well that's an interesting looking character to say the least.
What kind of crime is she involved in?
She a tad bit crazy? Or is the get up something that is supposed to instill certain feelings or thoughts from people ICly? What does she do as her Civilian Alter-Ego? |

Isn't it, though? Still fooling with the outfit, though -- not entirely sure that I am completely set on this look. There's a little too much sugar-pink to be at all intimidating, so I'm not quite married to the costume.
Not that intimidation is really Punch's thing -- she seems like the sort who doesn't mind being seen; stealth is not her primary skill, obviously, but she relies on her wits and general dexterity to get her through sticky situations.

Right now, I'm thinking theft. I toyed with the idea of having her go on a crazy killing spree -- but she's a little too cute for that, don't you think?

I haven't quite figured this one out yet -- I can't decide if I want her to be one of those villains who just kind of snapped and is their alter ego all the time (ie, the Joker, Two-Face -- though I suppose he can't really help it -- Harley, Poison Ivy, whoever), or if she is only Punch when she's feeling mischievous and is Judy the rest of the time.
Obviously, I still have over a month here at school to get all her little details worked out, but would really appreciate input from you all. :) What kind of character would you most like to RP with, what do you think would be fun, etc., etc.? |
