Upper East Side [Central Gotham]

Once the home of the independent cities of Manchester and Lyntown, the area has over the last century become known unofficially as Gotham's 'Little Italy'. The industrial legacy of the area is still maintained with the old chemical plants belonging to Wayne Chemical and Chem-Max Conpounds, the railyards in East Lyntown and the old docks and warehouses in Miller Harbor at the eastern mouth of the Finger River.
In contrast to the industrial feel to what was once Lyntown is the area that was once Manchester. Here you can still find affordable, single-family housing. Contrasting the residential feel however are the new R.H Kane Building, the Suhr Complex and Kubrick District.
An added contrast is that a section of the Upper East Side between First and Tenth Avenues was designed on a New York style grid with straight streets versus the more eccentric street patterns of the rest of Gotham and even the rest of the Upper East Side. And along the east shores of the harbor is the new Gotham Dome, home of the Gotham Knights and other sporting events.

The Upper East Side is not only home to the Gotham Dome but also the home for the Ritz-Marlton! Although this is not often a commonly stated thing to others due to the Ritz being yet another hotel. But for tonight there is a slight buzz amongst some of the younger adults of Gotham. One of the celebrities associated with the Gotham name that doesn't involve Arkham Asylum has returned. Yes indeed it is Dante once more! Although the commonly associated appearance of long dark hair and sculpted lips have not shown itself recently, the crowd gathered around the hotel entrance seems somewhat determined to wait for sighting to occur. Ah, kids.

Taking some personal time, Tim is standing outside the Ritz-Marlton with the rest of the crowd. He looks around, smiling and waving to a few familiar faces that are present to see the star. It gives him a chance to hang with some friends? Tim is definitely in for that.

As a hired car drives up, pausing at the entrance, the group surges forwards slightly, moving from the wall of the hotel and closer to the vehicle, excited squeals and shouts coming from fans from various enders, creeds, and school zoning mixes. The sound seems to grow as an employee moves to open the back passenger door. Shouts of 'Over here!' and the ever thought provoking 'Wooh!' seem to increase as well. During all this, one of the unfortunate others who also happen to be staying at the Ritz use the new found gap to inch their way along the side of the building wall to get to the front door. Although, other than the intent to get into the building and disregard for the scene outside as well as the little amount of hair peeking from the knit cap of his, it would be hard to tell this person from the rest of the Dante-gear wearing fanboys in the crowd.

Tim doesn't rush forward with the rest of the crowd. He holds his ground and watches from his vantage point. It's not like he hasn't seen this guy before anyway. He looks around for a moment before looking to the limo, tucking his hands into his jean pockets.

As the door opens, a man steps out, although apparently young and with dark hair, it is neither long, nor framing angular features. The group's cheers die down as the start to settle back. As for the disappointing figure, the crowd does shift slightly to allow the man to move towards the building without any more of a glance as the car drives off and another one comes into place, bringing their attention to this one. As for the knit capped man, he holds the door open for the newest arrival, impish grin on his face.

Tim continues to remain in his place, looking over at the figure exits the building. He chuckles out at the crowd's reaction, squinting if he looks familiar to him. He watches as the man pulls away before looking around to see if there is a place for him to sit.

The man smiles back leaning closer to the impromptu doorman, "You really do put the DUR in Durante." He mutters, shaking his head as he moves into the building.

The knitcapped man shrugs, "And you put the WA in Wade." He starts for the entrance before pausing, turning back to the group that was now focused on yet another car and glancing around for a somewhat more sane looking bystander.

Tim looks back at the two as they talk, lifting an eyebrow curiously as he listens to them. He chuckles to him and shakes his head at them as he observes them.

As Dante looks, he does get the feeling of someone actually paying attention to something other than the car. Jimminy, the jig's up. Looking in Tim's direction he gives a nod to the younger male as he slips a hand into his pants pocket to retrieve something.

Tim simply offers a nod back to the man, smirking slightly as he figures him out. He lounges back on the cement block he was using as a seat. He does nothing to draw attention, still he watches what is going on.

Since the group is still distracted and cheering at the car due to the guy opening doors has caught on to SLOW down the reveals now, Dante is able to actually move over to where Tim is, pulling out an envelope. "I'm sure you'd know what to do with these." With that he offers the white object over to him, not actually explaining what's inside, "Have fun."

Tim looks up as the "Figure" hands Tim in envelope. "I don't know. This is awfully suspicious." He tries to joke with the man. "But thanks." He says to him, quickly tucking it into a pocket. "Have a nice...and quiet day." He adds as he stands up.

"Ah but life is rarely that." Dante replies as the disappointed 'aww's reach his ears. Giving a two fingered salute he turns, walking back to the doorway and holding it open, this time for what apparently is a slightly older, executive type. Once the elder man steps in, the rocker's feet spin, turning him into the doorway.
